Datashelter is designed to back up all your Linux servers, whether it’s a simple website or a database cluster.
We support flat file backup as well as MySQL, PostgreSQL & MongoDB databases.
Today, we rely 100% on OVHcloud’s ISO 27001 and HDS-certified infrastructure.
Your data is distributed across our data centers in Gravelines, Roubaix and Strasbourg.
A server corresponds to a dedicated or VPS server on your infrastructure. Each server contains as many services as required (file systems and/or databases)
We have a cloud model. In other words, you only pay for the storage you actually use.
What’s more, deduplicating and compressing your backups saves you a lot of storage space.

We offer a 30-day free trial during which you can connect 1 server and use up to 1TB of storage free of charge.
Beyond this usage, the addition of a payment method is required.
Absolutely. We’ve opted for pay-per-use billing, as is the practice with cloud offerings.
So you’ll only be billed if you have at least one server configured and active.
We bill at the end of each month, based on your monthly consumption. Find out more
We base billing on:
- the number of active servers at the end of the month
- maximum storage space used during the month (in TB)
